I love to walk about the town where i live in the Western Cape. The mountains, the sea are so beautiful but there are “things” that are more beautiful. They are called children. Boys and girls aged between days and eleven years.
Some smile some cry. Some are hugged and some scream, some laugh and some cry.
But there are not just a few who i can see are not happy at all. I stair at them and then i see a small smile. Small eyes that start to smile. Then a prayer starts from my heart.
I don’t know their names so i give them numbers when i am at home.
So what can one pray about for the little ones?
1.Trauma removal.
Prior to birth.
During birth.
And now the new form of birth that is now popular in the Western Cape and
Gauteng called Caesarian Birth. (C SECTION.)
2. Generational curses from Mom and Dad.
3. The removal of unholy soul ties.
4. Plus items that the King of Kings points out.
5. Pray for the day that the little one hears Jesus’s name.
That the little one will ask Him for a Spiritual Hug and be saved.
6. I ask that Our King of Kings to please bless them.
7. No child is excluded from prayer even if it is obvious that their parents do not know Jesus.
When i look around were i live, children form their own gangs!
Children are today a target of abuse and this is about to get worse. AI is the source as it is becoming a new religion lead by America aimed at little ones. Social media is a great threat as well.
But i see that some nations in the world have seen the problem and are reacting to protect their children.
I have seen children reacting to prayer via smiles and looks.
But they do not react to me but to our Beloved King.
A SAD DAY
Thank the Father that these children are with Him now.
HOW WONDERFULL CHILDREN ARE.
Jesus told the disciples “Let them come to me” referring to children that had brought to let Him pray for them. Of all people on earth that day they should have been welcomed by the disciples. But what did they do? They “rebuked” the people that had brought the Little Ones to see Him. Rebuked in the original language meant a lot more than we would think today. They were more than angry. They were upset!
Bringing children to Jesus!!
Jesus’s reaction? Amongst other things He said was “Do not hinder them”.
I am an old man who calls Jesus “My King” You cannot just stroll into His Presence! But He allowed them to come to Him. Why? They had sinned and He knew that and spoke about it as well. But “The Little Ones” trusted Him. They could see Him for who He still is, namely Our Saviour.
They loved Him and believed in what He prayed. He hugged them which is a way He expressed His love for them. I see such a wonderful thing in this event.
They wanted to stay with Him. They were away from the people who loved them. They knew He loved them more and they accepted Him with humility.
The attitudes of children, their characteristics are needed by all of us to end up in heaven. They did not leave Jesus. “He went away.”(not them)
When we start our normal day do we pray for our children?
When the day ends do we thank God for them and bless them? Do we hug them?
Here is a lesson i learnt many years after my Mom died.
My Dad was my hero in the physical and spiritual sense. After i retired i often recalled memories of my father. I was very proud of him. Slowly but surely i started to recall memories of my mother. Then that one came!! She taught me to pray ever day. The first prayer she taught was written by Charles Wesley and started like this. “Gentle Jesus meek and mild look upon a little child and suffer me to come to thee ” Wow. She suddenly became my other hero just like my Dad. May i respectfully ask that you do the same as my Mom?
More than 70 years later i have seen the results of what she started in my life. Without prayer i would now be dead, possibly died 33 months ago! Being born again, being taught by God, sharing the Gospel and uncountable more.
This is but a start to looking at children and seeing how wonderfull they are. We must love protect and pray for them not now and then, but every single day.
